Our Team

Cindy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington. She has 30 years of clinical experience including: medical/surgical nursing, home health care and geriatric care management. Cindy served as the Director of Professional Services supervising all disciplines in five home health offices in the South Texas area. Prior to opening C&S Healthcare Services, Cindy owned and operated a home care consulting agency that provided compliance and regulatory management to home health agencies. She is a member of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers, The Houston Gerontological Society, and local chapters of Houston's Continuity of Care.

Mary earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Texas at Houston and holds a Master of Science degree from Texas Woman's University at Houston. She has worked as a registered nurse for 25 years, focusing primarily on public health. For the last 20 years Mary has volunteered with several local agencies that provide services to senior citizens.

Stephanie holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in social work from Stephen F. Austin State University.  Her background is primarily in medical social work.  She has worked in several longterm care settings and she also has experience in primary home care and home health.

Chris Hicks has a Master's degree in Gerontology and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology.  She has worked in a variety of settings from nursing homes to the Colorado State Office on Aging and volunteered as a support group leader with the Alzheimer's Association.  She has developed a particular interest in long-distance caregiving issues, having experienced it with her own mother.  C&S is so proud that Chris was selected as "Mentor of the Year 2009-2010" for her work at Taylor High School in Katy ISD KEYS program.  This prestigious honor is bestowed on volunteers based on their years of service, the number of children they have mentored and their depth of commitment to those children.  

Isabel holds her Master's degree in Social Work and Psychology from the University of Houston. She has over 15 years of experience in social services working with children, families, adults and elders. Her professional experience includes home-based social work evaluations and linkage to community resources, family counseling, hospital discharge planning and Case Management. Isabel is a member of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers, as well as the Houston Gerontological Society.

Mary McGuire served the frail and elderly of Houston for six years as the Executive Director of Volunteer Interfaith Caregivers, a faith based non-profit organization. She has worked within the life/health and commercial insurance industry and as a volunteer in the Stephen's ministry. Mary has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Certificate of Gerontology. Her experience as a business owner gives Mary the unique ability to provide personal administrative assistance to clients through organization and management of daily tasks.
